Root Wars - The Thirst for Life
This game is a couch co-op game where the players are trying to syphon the most water out of underground water reserves to make their tree grow taller than their opponent's.
The game has been made during the Global Game Jam 2023 event, the theme was Roots.
Being a Game Jam game it is hard to outline the exact contribution, as I had to work on many areas of the game, but to mention a few:
- Droplets' pathfinding
- Water reservoir and tree managers
- Sprite library (Caching all sprites so other classes can dynamically access them)
- General aesthetics of the game (pixelart, tile sets, particle effects, etc.)
